Who We Are
Implementation Engineers partners with companies to drive measurable, sustainable operational improvement. We specialize in delivering high-impact strategic initiatives through a structured, hands-on approach -- improving throughput, reducing cost, and aligning organizations.

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Operations Financial Analyst to play a critical role on client engagements focused on operational improvement. This position is central to our Program Design Phase (PDP), where financial rigor and operational insight are combined to build high-confidence business cases and transformation plans.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client leadership to develop financial and operational models that reflect real shop-floor conditions across manufacturing, maintenance, operations, and supply chain environments.

This role requires both strong analytical capability and comfort working onsite in plants and operational settings.

What You'll Do

  • Build detailed financial and operational models (NPV, IRR, ROI, payback) to support diagnostic and implementation phases
  • Translate shop-floor observations into credible financial impact and business cases
  • Analyze labor, productivity, downtime, yield, inventory, and cost drivers to support improvement initiatives
  • Develop scenario analyses to support capital and operational investment decisions
  • Track and validate ROI during execution to ensure benefits are realized
  • Present clear, concise insights to client leadership, connecting operational data to financial outcomes
  • Pressure-test assumptions to ensure recommendations are realistic, achievable, and sustainable

What Makes You Successful Here

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are comfortable working in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and maintenance environments -- and show genuine respect for the people doing the work
  • Can quickly understand how work is actually performed and reflect that reality in your analysis
  • Balance analytical rigor with practical judgment, knowing when precision matters and when progress matters more
  • Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with both frontline teams and senior leaders
  • Value being part of a close-knit, highly collaborative analyst team where people actively support one another, share ideas openly, and step in to help without being asked
  • Care as much about how the team works together as the quality of the output, and take pride in contributing to a positive, trusting team dynamic
  • Approach your work with humility and curiosity, recognizing that the best answers are often built together
  • Enjoy ambiguity, fast-paced work, and complex problem-solving -- especially when done alongside others who are equally invested in the team’s success

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, STEM or similar
  • 7–10+ years’ experience in corporate or operations finance, consulting, or investment banking
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, ROI, cost modeling)
  • Exposure to GAAP and cost accounting principles
  • Experience supporting or partnering with manufacturing, operations, maintenance, or supply chain teams
  • Advanced Excel modeling and data manipulation skills
  • Strong presentation and storytelling ability - especially with senior leaders
  • Comfortable in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments
  • SQL, statistical tools, or Power BI experience a plus
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Typically up to ~75% travel, with flexibility for higher travel as needed.

  • See your work drive change on the shop floor
  • Partner directly with client leadership and operations teams
  • Gain exposure across multiple industries, facilities, and operating models — accelerating your learning and broadening your perspective
